Error opening AbiWord

I'm using Red Hat 7.0 with XFree86 4.0.1. I just downloaded and installed
the RPM version of abisuite 0.7.12. I then started AbiWord by typing
abiword at the command prompt and I get the following message:

AbiWord could not load the following font or fontset from the X Font
Server, -*-Times New Roman-regular-r-*-*-*-0-*-*-*-*-*-*

Then, when I press OK, the app shuts down...making it pretty much useless
to me. Please help!
