The problem is probably not having AbiWord installed on the second
remote machine.

I have a small three-computer network, all Linux Intel boxes. I'm running
AbiWord 7.13. I'm running xdm on the network.
AbiWord runs fine from the console on the server. And it runs fine from
one of the X-clients. But I can't get it going from the other X-client.
When I execute AbiWord I get a dialog saying "AbiWord could not load the
following font or fontset from the X Window System display server:
[-*-Times New Roman-regular-r-*-*-*-0-*-*-*-*-*-*] blah blah blah"
I don't see any differences in the way AbiWord is set up on the two
clients. All the fonts are the same on both client machines and they're
located in the same place.
Could someone please point me in the right direction as to what to look
for that could be wrong? Thanks.
