Hello, I downloaded abiword-0.7.14-2.tgz, and did gunzip and tar -xf. AbiSuite resides in /usr/local Trying to run abiword from cygwin 1.3.1 shell, I get the following although AbiWord_d is in /usr/local/AbiSuite/bin xset: unable to open display "" /usr/local/AbiSuite/bin/AbiWord_d: not found What about unable to open display ""? In ~/.xinitrc, I have export DISPLAY=127.0.0.1:0.0 Can anybody think of why I am getting this? Thanks very much for your help.
