If you read it again, I think you'll find that Dom is planning to make
the default setting reflect the majority of the user preference -- the
default will be to open a new document, not to shut AbiWord down.

Again, read carefully -- Dom plans to close AbiWord *on the last
document* when X is pressed, not when more than one document is open.
