I was wondering, would it be possible to make the page on translation summaries (/dev/strings/strings.html) smaller? It's unbearably huge and unmanageable. I realize that it is automatically generated and I'm not sure if I should submit this to bugzilla as an enhancement request (?)
On a related note, I read Dom Lachowicz's note to the translators (http://www.abisource.com/mailinglists/abiword-dev/01/November/0132.html) and thought I would be glad to help with that, especially that some of the strings I see badly need correcting or translating. Please excuse my ignorance, but could someone give me a hint as to how to go about that? I've always thought that part of the whole fuss about separating the localization part from code proper is the need to make it easier for *non-programmers* to help with that, so -- and here comes another request ;-) -- maybe some space at the bottom of the developer page could be devoted to telling people like me how they could get involved into the string localization business, please? :-) Thanks, Piotr ----------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word unsubscribe in the message body.
