Hi All,
I couldn't help but notice that we have been cut off
from RPM's on version 0.9.5.
So, here is a request/suggestion: in the source tar ball
place a script to create an RPM for ourselves.
This should be extremely easy to do, as it has already
been done in the Samba distributions and can be copied
and modified.
Also, if I am not posting this to the correct place to get
this included in the source package, would someone
point me to the correct list?
Many thanks,
--Tony

p.s. in Samba, this is how to make an RPM from the
source tar file:
Download the tarball. Extract it and build as follows:
tar xzvf samba-2.2.1a.tar.gz
cd samba-2.2.1a/packaging/RedHat
sh makerpms.sh
This should correctly built your RPM packages. The resulting packages
should be in /usr/src/RedHat/RPMS/i386
