I have installed the shipped abiword (0.7.13) on a RH 7.1 machine for a
retiree friend who just wants to write short stories. Unfortunately, it
core dumps when printing.
I have failed miserably to update my own RH 7.1 workstation to abiword
0.9.4 using rpms because of a shared gtk library scavenger hunt that I
can't seem to win. For myself, I'm happy to wait for RH 7.2 and see what
they ship, or wait until the packagers get it together.
Is there an intermediary release of AbiWord in rpm that can do printing,
but that won't require a search for libraries that will consume all my free
time?
(And, no, I don't consider compiling it an option for a variety or
reasons.)
