Edit normal.awt

HI All,            I read with great interest the tip from Francisco Borneo 1/16/02 on how to stop the default return to "Letter" size in Abiword. I have had the same problem, I set the page to A4 and it returns to letter. On trying to edit normal.awt in 3 different programs all I got was a blank document, and on looking back in explorer I found that the file normal.awt is only 2kb. I am using version 0.9.6.-1 Any help would be appreciated. Rennie Urquhart.
