I had a similar problem with another small word processor on an older
computer, a Pentium 100mhz, running Windows 95. However, being an older
computer, I had it chock full of programs. I blew everything off the hard
drive and reinstalled Win95 and the typing delay disappeared. However, I
should point out that I never had the typing delay with Abi, even with the
woefully cluttered hard drive and registry.
