I have Abiword installed and running on a FBSD-4.4-Stable box. Also present is /usr/local/bin/ispell && /usr/local/share/AbiSuite/dictionary/american.hash. I have tried everything I know how to get the application to use a dictionary. Yet when I use the application every word is red underlined and in the preferences the dictionary option is grayed out. What do I have to do to enable the use of a dictionary?
