i dont think this is possible yet, im not sure though. well at the moment Abiword documents do not have a title to put there instead. are you suggesting just putting the filename there instead of the full path?
Best bet is to wait until abiword supports an actual title attribute and then give the user the option to Display: Title/ File Path / Filename (drop down menu i would think) There might be an RFE for Document Title or Document Properties, i remember asking about it but i may not have filled a Feature Request.
