No. That feature will have to wait for post 1.0. I want footntes as much
as anybody but the work to do them is best combined with the work to do
Tables. Doing footnotes and Tables is a significant amount of work that
will likely de-stablize abi for a time. We think it is best to finish off
the 1.0 set of features plus plugins first, then tackle Tables and
footnotes.
