Hi all, I recently switched from a Samsung to a Brother HL-1070. It works fine, at least it does from everything except AbiWord. I also recently installed a new version of AbiWord (it says 0.99.3, but it was through the Red Carpet installer as part of Ximian Gnome, rather than installed directly from the AbiSource site).
Print Preview now shows a page with every character replaced by an empty square. And printing results in blank pages. I'm using RedHat 7 linux, and printing to lpr (/dev/lp0) What's to blame? I can't see that it's the printer, since Evolution and Opera can both print to it. Is it the Ximian install of AbiWord? Can I fix it, or do I need to re-install from the rpm on the AbiSource site?
