Up to now I have had no problems with printing in Abi. However I have now installed version 1 and I cannot get printing to work.
I am trying to print an email which I have done successfully before as follows. I save the email to my documents folder. Start Abi and use File/Open. I open the new file which is I assume is a text file, although there is no extension to the name. I change the font to Helvetica and save the file as an Abi file by adding .abw to the name. I then go to File/Print. I use Turboprint so I change lpr to lpr -Ptp0. Click on Print. Up to now this has worked fine. Now in version 1 I find that Normal has changed to Block Text and I get a load of rubbish. As a further test I created a small document in Abi and tried to print it with the same rubbish result. Again Normal was changed to Block Text and this was not an imported file??? Can anyone help? If not I will go back to the earlier version of Abi which worked fine, thank you very much.
