Yesterday, I built and installed AbiWord-1.0.1 on my RH 6.2 system. I
already have a bunch of Type1 fonts installed in
/etc/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1.
Both WordPerfect (that I hope AbiWord will replace for our day-to-day word
processing) and LaTeX find the full range of installed fonts there. My
question is whether I can point AbiWord there (in
~/.AbiSuite/AbiWord.Profile) so these fonts can be used in documents.
While I'm asking about AbiWord fonts, is there any way now to use a small
caps font with any given typeface? If not, will there be such support in the
future (near rather than far, preferably)?
