Hi, For our school I just downloaded the Windows version of Abiword. We want to use Abiword on a Win98 comp. with Arabic language support. The computer has Wordpad and I can choose Arabic fonts and type Arabic.
It was _very_ easy to set R > L in Abiword. A great advantage!! We have Arabic fonts and I can see the Arabic fonts in the fonts menu. When I select an Arabic font, it appears in the font window. However, when I type (indeed from R > L !!), I get the Western characters. I checked the Manual, FAQ and mailinglist, but could not find anything (to my best of knowledge) Question: How can I get Arabic fonts working in Abiword.
