We are using Red Hat 7.3 Linux with KDE desktop. We downloaded software
from your site
(abiword-gtk-bidi-1.03-1.i386.rpm and abispell-en-GB-1.0-1.i386.rpm)
these both downloaded and installed ok - really like the word processor
a lot - but one big problem with the spellchecking!
when we click on the spellcheck option, the text in the window that
opens is just a string of meaningless characters. We have tried entering
different codes into the dictionary options, but without success. Also
if we choose the replace option, the spell check inserts words that are
in plain english (though not always the required ones! (can't see what
choices to make) The document prints fine, so any ideas would be
gratefully received.
