There is an HTML import plugin which tries to import HTML using libxml2's HTML parser. It's not very good because I never got round to finishing it. However, I have started work on a new plugin which uses libtidy to pre-parse HTML & convert it to XHTML - I shall be working on this during January. > If not, can I hope for being able to import valid > HTML with CSS supported sometime foreseeable? I am very interested in any valid XHTML documents which AbiWord cannot import. CSS support is an entirely different question. The answer is a resounding 'perhaps eventually' :-) It's certainly something I would like to support, but I don't know when I'll get round to it. There's an important question here: are you sure you need AbiWord to support CSS import? I'd really like to hear exactly why you think you do. <fjf:ciao html:style="text-weight:merry">Frank</fjf:ciao> Francis James Franklin [EMAIL PROTECTED] `Medium atomic weights are available: Gold, Lead, Copper, Jet, Diamond, Radium, Sapphire, Silver and Steel. `Sapphire and Steel have been assigned...' ----------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word unsubscribe in the message body.
