And there is one other way, but I'd rather not end up in Sklyarov's old cell. In your specific case, from what I understand, it would be sufficient to in plugin fork to pdf2*, edit, and on save *2pdf. If the person wants a hard copy and not a pdf back, you neednt even the last step, just print.
