Should the hdmi out "just work" in general, or is some tinkering required? I have an AC-100 set up with noxdm and lxde in the style of the ubuntu de-ubuntuization guide on the wiki. The kernel can see an hdmi cable connected to an external monitor being plugged in, but lxrandr (or grandr) only register the laptop screen.
