Should the hdmi out "just work" in general, or is some tinkering required?
I have an AC-100 set up with noxdm and lxde in the style of the ubuntu de-ubuntuization guide on the wiki. The kernel can see an hdmi cable connected to an external monitor being plugged in, but lxrandr (or grandr) only register the laptop screen. Logging out and in/booting with the external monitor attached has no effect.
