Why not to use user function?
select user from dual
should list username for current
session.

dataentry screen on a
Environ("USERNAME") from a user
table?
Example:
usertable has username and
locationcode,
depending on who logs in the LocationCode on another table
gets the
value on Location on the Usertable?
