Hi Brij,
I followed your instructions:
1) I insert an Image object on my form
2) I add the comdlg32.ocx to my reference
3) I insert the CommonDialog ActiveX on my form
4) I add this under my cmdInsert button and error occurs here:
Me.comDlg.showfile
Me.Image0.Picture = Me.comDlg.FileName
Me.comDlg.FileName
I suspect I have the wrong syntax. Actually my main objective is to allow
user to insert the photo and save on the table the image and the full path
and file name in one process. Then if user open any record, the
corresponding photo will of course show.
TIA,
George

Subject: Re: [AccessDevelopers] OLE Object
Hi,
Dont Use Oleobject on form.
But Get One Image control on your form.
and Take Microsoft Common Dialog Control.
now
Write Code
commondialog.ShowFile
image1.picture=commondialog.filename
commondialog.filename will give you the path of
that file and image1 control will show the photo.
u can code according to this in your program.
Brij Here
