Brijraj,
  1. Always compact your database. If you have a back end front end
split,
be sure and compact the back end nightly when all the users go home.
Also
assign a timer form to your app that automatically logs out any user who
is
idle for a set amount of time, many examples of this are available on
the
net. Also, use a batch file to make copies of your critical databases
before the nightly compact to a separate computer.
  2. Good database design and form design. User training is also
essential.
  3. See 2. Also be sure you understand what the user needs, work with
the
person if possible to see how they work with data and computers.
  4. Depends. If you hit the 2 gig limit, you can recover the database
structure but generally not the data. I've only hit that when working
with
data from commercial systems.
  5. Again good database design. On your tables add appropriate keys. If
you are using Access over a network, then two issues are important.
Access
requires fast disk access, so if it is on a shared server with a heavy
disk
load, Access will perform poorly. Access also requires a reliable fast
connection. Over long distances Access will have problems with the
latency.

As with everything else in life, keep learning. Read and buy Access
books,
use the web, go to school in database design and visual basic
programming.
Good Luck
Hal
