Sometimes it just takes someone else's perspective. Thanks for this - it works perfectly again now, although I would like to know why it stopped working in the first place. I guess we'll never know!!

I remember having to reset the recordsource of the subform (in code) as a way of requerying it. This seemed to 'refresh' it everytime with the correct data.
