I have been attempting to link MS Access to an established MS SQLbase via ODBC. I use the Machine... area to connect the thing and it asks me for a username/password and then says that a connection IS established when I test it. (I don't recall the precise order of all of this.) Anyway, when I attempt to look at the tables area I see many elements but none that I would recognize as the sort of table that I would be expecting. One of the entities is ...._TABLES. I am wondering if perhaps my username/password is not sufficient to see better detail. I have admin rights but I am not the individual who actually created the SQLbase. Tomorrow I will try the "Administrator/(password)" to see if it improves anything but I thought that perhaps someone here would know what is going on. Any help much appreciated.
