I agree with Cathy,

exporting to a Word document would be the best way.

I’m using Word models (model.dot) with pre-formatted text, in the model I put bookmarks to define the exact place where text must start and then, with a routine, I open the model and start to fill the document.

With the routine I can use “if-then” and decide to format in a way or another.

Regards,

            Manuel

Oggetto: RE: [AccessDevelopers] Bolding a word within a text box in a report

This might not be very helpful, but in your place I'd use Word and do a mail merge from an Access query, rather than trying to use Access as a WP.  You might succeed In bolding this one word, but in my experience the client will next time want "this bit in a different font and that bit blue and and and".

Cheers

Cathy

I am creating a report for a client where they would like to have stand “Dear John….” type of letter.  I have the report nearly complete but the only catch I have is that there is one word within a sentence in the report that the client would like to bold.  How do I do that?
