The only time I've ever encountered anything like this is when a form falls over - sometimes (rarely) a record is left corrupted. It might be worth asking your users whether they've been having persistent problems with any one form erroring, and to be sure to let you know about any error message they encounter. If they're anything like my users they don't bother reporting errors if they are able to continue afterwards! Good luck. Cathy
