I have lately been getting a lot of those unwelcome "Microsoft has encountered an error" messages which not just close, but slam shut my work in process, and of course, without saving any changes. I was able to press the powers that be to get the latest service patches to Office, and at the time, that seemed to allow me to get past a point which was giving me many such problems, but it's still happening -- sometimes 5 or 6 times a day. It makes me wonder, since I'm now using Access 2002, whether Access 2003 is more stable in this regard. Does anybody have insight on this?
