Hey Glenn,
Yes, absolutely - but I think peaches1979_2001's situation may be a simpler than
that. It really depends on whether it's necessary/desirable to maintain an
product table.

Tom,
Do you
agree with my previous response about using three tables?

Subject: RE: [AccessDevelopers] Need Help with my Access FileMy response from last Saturday:You need to add a field in your "Sold" table that represents the customer number. FYI, naming a field "Number" is not a good idea, generally speaking.I'd suggest naming the AutoNumber field in the customers table "CustomerID", and adding a field of type Long, also named CustomerID to the "Sold" table. Without the CustomerID field in the Sold table, you wouldn't know to which customer a given record relates.Have you tried these things?Tom Oakes

the group in the files folder.
I have these two tables:
Customer: ID, Name, Address, City, State, Zip, Email
Sold: Auto Number, Item Number, Discription, Qty, Price
How do I link them to the Customer ID just using that? I want each
record different for the customer so that I could have a copy of it.
I setup my query using the auto number, but it tells me it is invaild
_expression_. IF anyone could help me with it, I appreciate it.
Please zip all files prior to uploading to Files section.
