Hi, I have one mdb file and I want to run it in the run mode without linking tables again and again.
Every time after closing the mdb file ... we are relinking the tables tools->data Base Utiliies->linked table manager..any provison to save Network Library Name,Network address,DSN,Username,Password,DATABAse in the mdb itself or in the form tha will take these inputs and will run automatically and will link the tables. My run mode flow should be like this.. 1.Just double click mdb file 2.Press the button that will run the applicaton(macros and all)... 3. the form which will trigger the code should automaticallly get connected to the tables outside using the default values we give some where(where exactly I am not aware and ..u should suggest me) 4.Pull data from the external tables and 5 keep them in the local tables Most importantly is that..... every time I close and open the application I should not reconnect the "linked table manager...options"...
