Hello Everyone I have a database that has an unbound
form that saves all the records via code into a backend table. This database is
networked on a the network that is wireless. The challenge I have with this client is
that twice in the last 30 days a record in the table has #ERROR in several fields.
I had to reconstruct the table each time. I am looking for the cause; otherwise
they threatened to go to another vender. The dilemma is the database is working
fine with other clients and there has not been a report of database corruption.
The database in question is on a windows 2003 Server
where the backend resides. The front-end is on the users
local machine. As I mentioned earlier, the form is unbound and save the record
when the Save button is clicked. I think the wireless network is causing me
problems because all my other clients are hardwired (cable) in their network.
Has anyone experienced anything like this or know the probable cause of the corruption
once the data was saved? If more information is needed, let me know. TIA Gregory Yahoo! Photos |
