Title: Message
I actually know how to get the path in a batch file, and since I have a batch file for people to start the database (it loads the latest version from the server to their desktop), I thought I could add that in as a command line argument, but I can't seem to get code that works to retrieve the value.  I've changed focus for now, will go back to it if I find another direction to take.

The registry key might work, but how do I get to it?

TIA.

Tobi

Tobi,

See if the registry key at:

  "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders"

will do what you want to do.

I have a form to allow users to save a report, and want the default path to be their "My Documents" folder.  How can I pull that out of system information?
