This is not a yahoo issue.
Yahoo is working just fine. It’s the archive setting on this
list. It is set to public.
I have lists I am on that are private and
the archives are private and they don’t turn up in a google search nor
are they on that web site.
The real question is whether or not we
want to share our knowledge with others at the risk of possible spam which we
all get anyway.

I wondered were all this new spam I have
been getting was coming from, I don’t use this email address for any
thing but (what is supposed to be) secure comms.
I will look at the possibility of
establishing a new blog group on one of my servers (as soon as I verify
bandwidth) if yahoo doesn’t straighten out.
