Disable the multicast beacon in the preferences and it’ll stop crashing...

We discovered that it is a Mcafee issue and we got it installed. My problem now
is that python crashes when I attempt to enter a venue. I think I saw something
about that a while back so I’m off to check out the archives.

I’m glad that you have been so successful. It’s very impressive.

Jimmy, that’s odd. You sure it’s not a permissions issue? We install the
bundled version usually and do not have an issue – with an account that has
admin rights on Win 7/64 machines. I’ll confess it’s been a little while since
installing the non-bundled one...

P.s. AG very much alive here in Louisiana at the moment. Which reminds me to
update our stats again for last year’s use... I believe we exceeded our 2010
numbers in terms of # of events upwards of about 500 throughout the state.

Subject: [AG-TECH] AG-tk3.2 install on Windows 7/64.

Some portions of the AG-tk3.2 install on Windows 7/64 while wxPython2.6 and the
AG-tk 3.2 package proper does not. I get the error:

Unable to execute file in the temporary directory. Setup aborted.
Error 5: Access Denied.

It appears that the install places an install program in Program Files and then
fails when it tries to execute it. Has anyone run into this problem recently? I
remember installing 3.2 on a Windows 7/32 system a while back and it installed
fine.

Any help would be appreciated.

Jimmy
