I hoped that certificate requests would work again when the venue
server came back up. However, looking more closely now at the error
(see below) from CertificateRequestTool, I see it uses a different
machine anyway.
So, the problem is that certificate requests are all failing. Here's
the error message, which appears after the final submit button is
pressed (and debug output shows the request going out):
