We experienced some noise from the on-board sound card so we installed a Creative Labs X-Fi USB sound device. The device worked well but we still had some noise going to the other sites from the mic input. We also use the AccessGrid software (version 3.2)and initially the Creative Labs device was recognized by it. In order to correct the noise problem with the mic we installed the drivers and software that were included with the Creative Labs device. This corrected the noise problem we were having with IGMeeting but AccessGrid would no longer see the device. I selected options within the RAT program and then audio but the Creative Labs device did not appear, only the on-board sound device was listed. How do I get RAT to recognize the Creative Labs device? bye for now...
