Hi Jimmy:

That parameter need not be adjusted in the 3.2 release.

The VenueClient determines the status of multicast on a machine by listening
for data on the multicast group configured in preferences. Based on that, it
would appear that your second system is not getting data on that group. Does
the second machine receive audio/video over multicast ?

Okay, I’m running AGtk3.2 on two Windoze 7 systems on the same subnet. On one
System, the Venue Client indicates that multicast is active. On the other
system, the indicator states that multicast is inactive or not detected. I
remember in the Beta release, one had to set a multicast parameter in one of
the python files from “true” to “1”. Is this still the case? If so, what file
was that. I tried looking in the archives but I ran outta steam. ;-)

Thanks
Jimmy
