We don't want to depend on external servers to do the testing so we're building our own. I've been wandering around looking for some info but I've only found how to install the client--not the server. Would anyone know the installation/configuration steps to get it working? Jesus, In Asia-Pacific region, we're now using dbeacon: http://fivebits.net/proj/dbeacon/ There's a tarball link on that page as well as a link to the git repository. Its different from the older multicast beacons in that its distributed in its action, rather than client/server; any client can also display the output matrix via a web server. For an example of output, see the Asia Pacific matrix at: http://syd-a-ext1.aarnet.net.au/matrix/ FAQ at: http://wiki.github.com/hugosantos/dbeacon/faq Some additional info at: http://www.vislab.uq.edu.au/research/accessgrid/howto/dbeacon.html chris Christoph Willing +61 7 3365 8316 QCIF Access Grid Manager University of Queensland
