G'day AG Users (Please ignore previous email, day was wrong)
In an effort to increase attendance to the regular test sessions, on the
first Monday of each month, I will be providing a presentation on
various Access Grid related topics at the schedule test session time.
Obviously people are welcome to attend the test session, as I will begin
the presentation approximately 10 minutes into the test session time.
For this up and coming Monday, I hope to provide a presentation on
HDV/DV node services for the Access Grid. Part of this presentation, I
will attempt to demonstrate the technology in use. The version of the
HDV / DV services that will be highlighted is based upon the work that
Chris Willing and Leon Zadorin from University of Queensland did to
extend "vic".
One of the purposes of this presentation is to highlight these services
as I personally have begun to use them on a more regular basis.
