I even have to set video producer to PAL even though the cameras are NTSC -
strange.

   Hi Fiona
Have a look at the configuration of vic in the Venue Client under tools
select configure node services.
The video producer sometimes gets set to NTSC instead of PAL

      Hello,
I'm trying to build a new node machine with the stable 3.1 release.
The software builds correctly, but when I connect to a venue, the video
      just shows coloured bands
      rather than a clear picture.

      We're running the following hardware:
      XP SP2 pc.
      Matrox QID graphics card.
      Osprey 440 Capture Card.
      3 Sony EVI-D31 cameras set to PAL/H261.

Using the Osprey software, I can get a clear picture, but not via the AG
      toolkit.

The setup works perfectly in 3.0.2. Does anyone have any ideas as to
      what I could tweak?

      Thanks,
      Fiona
