I may be wrong here, but I think TCP port 8030 outbound is used to connect to a bridge registry peer.
We publish the following ports usage page on our website: http://www.agsc.ja.net/support/ports.php Cheers, Ben. |=============================| | Ben Green | | Access Grid Support Centre | | Room G49-H | | Research Computing Services | | Kilburn Building | | University of Manchester | | Oxford Road | | Manchester | | M13 9PL | |-----------------------------| | Tel. 0161 306 6621 | | Fax. 0161 275 0637 | | ben.gr...@manchester.ac.uk | | http://www.agsc.ja.net | |=============================| -----Original Message----- From: owner-ag-t...@mcs.anl.gov [mailto:owner-ag-t...@mcs.anl.gov] On Behalf Of Thomas D. Otherwise, there should be an indication of the problem in the logfile. If you don't see it, I'd suggest just submitting a bug report, which will include the most recent portion of the VenueClient.log file.
