Robert
I'll try and get a copy of the agenda today and post it on agtech and on
agschedule.

thanks

Paul

Any chance you could post an agenda for your symposium? I could probably get
more people to show up if they didn’t have to commit to two full days. ~ian

Occasionally we put on seminars/workshops etc here at ARSC via the AG and
I'm always at a loss of how to get the word out. I usually resort to a posting
at AGTech/AGUsers and hopefully the subscribers will get the word out to
interested parties. And from the other end I occasionally look at agschedule
for workshops etc that might be of interest to others here at ARSC or my
contacts at UAF. I tried to get the rss feed below and couldn't connect.

Thanks for getting the word out about our seminar next week.

I've recently been on a quest to get more exposure to my local node by
hosting public meetings and seminars on different topics. Rather than
read
the schedule calendar day-by-day, I've recently started putting the
RSS feed
into my RSS reader. I've been using a 14-day feed (and you can put
whatever
         number you want in there).

Someday I hope that "open to all" meetings can be clearly identified
in the
title, or even get their own RSS category, but until then, it's not
too hard
to tell the regular meetings from the events.

For instance, in addition to the upcoming Multicast session next
Monday, the
Arctic Region Supercomputing Center is hosting a two-day symposium on
"multicore and new processing technologies" that I think some of my
supercomputer folks would be interested in. It's Monday-Tuesday of next
         week.

Hopefully this tip will help some of you who are in the same situation
as
         me.
         Take care,
