I know this is an old thread, and that the standard RAT doesn't recognise UAA sound cards like the on-board RealTek on our shiny new Acer laptops [ :-) ], but I can't recall if any of the various development RATs do so?
This is WindowsXP using AGTK 3.0.2 as obtained from accessgrid.org As an aside, are the list archives searchable? Whatever I try short of going to a specfic posting I get the Error 403 the Web server does not support directory listings message from http://www-unix.mcs.anl.gov/web-mail-archive/. Is there a way in? A search of the MCS web from http://www- unix.mcs.anl.gov/search/ doesn't return any hits for realtek so I guess this, understandably, doesn't search the list archives.
