DEADLINE FOR PROPOSALS: Friday, March 23, 2007
The Access Grid Retreat is an annual event involving users,
developers, and researchers concerned with the Access Grid
software and with collaboration research. The Retreat Program
typically includes presentations suitable for people at all
levels of technical understanding, from first time users to
developers to researchers in collaborative technology and
streaming media. More information about the current and past

Speakers are encouraged to present in all areas related to
the Access Grid and collaboration research, including but not
limited to the following:
Deployment
Innovative uses of the Access Grid
Regional collaborations
Collaboration in particular domains
(medicine, science, education, etc.)
Remote access to instruments (scientific or otherwise)
Research and Development
Access Grid core
Shared Applications
Streaming Media
Multicast networking, monitoring, bridging
Security
Scheduling
Meeting Archiving
Human-Computer Interaction
The most impressive presentations, as chosen by the Program
Committee, will be awarded with a prize.
HOW TO SUBMIT PROPOSALS
Speakers are requested to submit extended abstracts of no more than
1000 words, not including figures or references; PDF format is
preferred. Speakers should define their interest in submitting a
proposed panel discussion (including title and proposed speakers), or
an individual presentation (including title). Abstracts should be
written so as to be self-contained and to provide the technical
substance required for the program committee to evaluate the
presenter's contribution, and to provide sufficient detail for the
program. Presentations including live demonstrations, for example
introducing a new shared application or service, must list the
hardware and network requirements necessary for the demonstration.
Abstracts must be submitted by Friday, March 23, 2007. Please submit to

Speakers will be selected by Friday, March 30, 2007. Confirmations will
be sent via email.
