Thanks Thomas, Daniel and Tom for the prompt replies. I followed Daniel advice
and removed the c:\documents and settings\<me>\application data\accessgrid
directory but what seems to be happening is that the application exits before
it even begins to write the logs (or even create the directory again). If I run
the client in Debug mode the message I get is simply:

Thats all! This issue is more annoying than anything else, maybe its a problem
with the python installation. At the moment I'm running the client in a virtual
machine as a temporary solution, but I may have to resort to a system restore
or reinstall when I have time.

Thanks again to all,

Ismail

You could check the logfile in

   c:\documents and settings\<you>\application
data\accessgrid\logs\venueclient.log

If you don't see a clear indication of a problem in that (admittedly
spammy) file, you could forward it to me to take a look at.

I'm running Access Grid 3.0.2 in Windows and recently managed to break
the installation by installing a duplicate (newer) version of python. I'm now
greated with an "Initialization Error, SystemExit-1" error when attempting to
load the venue client. I've tried removing and reinstalling all the software
including the python distributions and the other dependancies but to no avail.
Does anyone know how to get around this? Is there a debug/log file somewhere on
my system that I should be looking at (sorry, I'm new to this!)?

      Many Thanks,
