Thanks Nathan, It's a Creative Audigy 2 ZS. I'll try switching to the on-board audio.
Thanks for the RAT restart instructions :) Kind regards, Chen. -----Original Message----- From: Nathan Gardiner [mailto:nathan.gardi...@canterbury.ac.nz] Sent: Wed 8/9/2006 5:57 PM To: Chen Reed; ag-t...@mcs.anl.gov Subject: RE: [AG-TECH] RAT - Random crashing Go to "Manage my node" under the Preferences menu in the client and right mouse click on audioservice and select disable. Then when it turns to disabled right mouse click on it again and click enable. This should restart RAT again without you having to restart the client. As for RAT randomly crashing, you may want to check which audio card you're using. RAT is a bit picky as to what type of audio card it can work 100% with. I would investigate the slow way, but I am stuck in the middle of a week of near back-to-back meetings and need a quick-fix. Thanks for any help. Kind regards, Chen.
