Hi Jimmy: AG3 does not require and will not use a certificate for the VenueClient, so you don't need one.
The documentation has not been updated for AG3 yet. Note that AG2 and AG3 are not compatible (i.e., AG2 software cannot talk to AG3 software), so you'll have to coordinate use of a particular version with the people you plan to meet with.
