***Apologies for Cross Posting*** "Faster Real World CAE Solutions - Using Integrated Knowledge Based Systems"
Dr Ian McLuckie, Advanced Integrated Engineering Solutions Ltd. Friday, 27th January, 1400-1500 (UTC + 0.0) Room 1.10, Kilburn Building (ESNW Access Grid) Dr McLuckie will discuss the development of engineering "design environments" for the aerospace, automotive, power generation and rail sectors. The integration of geometry generation and numerical analysis techniques (FEA, FD, CFD) into a single system environment enables the hard work of model preparation and boundary condition definition to be automatically taken care of within an Integrated Knowledge Based System. Productivity is improved considerably over the traditional CAD and FE meshing approach, reducing design times by a factor of 10 to 100.
