The JVC GR-HD1. In fact, suddenly it stopped working one day (picture from
CCD/lens except everything else worked) so I just sent it off for warranty
repair (parts, but already past the 90 day labor). It's had a sheltered lift,
no rough stuff, indoor use, etc. and it suddenly failed during use.

The JVC's lag is bothersome - so what other cameras have folks played
with and felt good about?

We originally used a Philips LDK-6000 camera and DVS Centaurus capture
card with our UltraGrid HD system (http://ultragrid.east.isi.edu/). This works
well, with very low latency, but I'm not sure that particular camera is still
available. I've copied Ladan, who can provide more information on the current
cameras tested with that system.

We're playing with this some in order to augment our existing video
across the state while our high speed network (10G) comes online.
